It feels like spring today! I’m loving the blue skies & hoping this nice weather sticks around for a while although I’m sure we are still in for a snow storm or two. Please read on for our March Update! LOTS OF EXCITING NEWS!!
SPRING BREAK
The studio will be closed for our Spring Break from March 14th- March 23rd. Fingers crossed that the weather allows for some fun in the sun!
SPIRIT WEEK – Rainbow
Rainbow Spirit Week will be March 24th-27th. Let your student dress up in their favorite color of the rainbow or all the colors of the rainbow!! Basic dress code rules apply: athletic attire that covers the bottom & belly areas, hair pulled back & appropriate shoes.
MISSOULA LIP SYNC BATTLE
Studio M Performance Company is participating in the annual Camp Mak-A-Dream fundraiser – The Missoula Lip Sync Battle. Each member is responsible for raising $100 & we will be performing at the show on March 29th; 4pm. I strongly believe in community service and I can’t think of a better way for a group of dancers to give back to other children in the community. EGG MY YARD
Participate in our second big FUNdraiser of the year!! The Studio M Company Bunnies will decorate your yard the night before Easter so your student can wake up to eggs galore! 30 Eggs = $25; 50 Eggs = $45 Call or Text Hallie Lopuch for more information or to book your bunny. 406.240.5658 See the attached flyer & help us spread the fun!
RECITAL FEE & APPAREL
Reminder that if you are participating in the recital, there is a $20 fee/student. We will pull this fee with the May tution. Every student participating in the recital will receive a recital t-shirt or tank top. Please log into the parent portal to add your student’s t-shirt size or shoot us an email with the preferred size by March 23rd.
RECTIAL TICKETS
Recital tickets will go on sale May 1st at 12pm. Make sure to mark your calendars as they may go fast.
RECITAL DATES & PHOTOS
We will be having recital the first week of June. Rehearsals will be on Tuesday June 2nd & Wednesday June 3rd and our show will be on June 4th. Please be sure to have ALL THREE days free as we won’t know the rehearsal schedule until we get closer to June. If your student misses the dress rehearsal, they will not be able to participate in the show. This is for safety purposes. Photos will take place during our two days of DRESS rehearsal. BIG BIG BUILDING NEWS!!!
We have secured a new space for our second season of dance! It’s our own building and we couldn’t be more excited!! Everything is still very new so the word isn’t completely out but, I wanted to share with you because there may be opportunity for us to hire within our dance family. We are looking for an electrician, a plumber & any other building trades that might be usefull in a renovation. Please reach out to me if you are this person or have a family referral. SO EXCITING!!!!
