It’s finally snowing!!! I know that will excite some of you and make others cringe but for me, the snow helps everything feel even more festive!! We hope you are enjoying the holiday season and finding lots of fun ways to celebrate. December details are below…

STUDIO M COMPANY PERFORMANCES
We have two upcoming performances at Griz basketball games. If you happen to be in the crowd during the men’s game on the 8th or the Lady Griz game on the 20th, be sure to cheer on our STUDIO M STARS as they dance their hearts out to some fun Christmas songs.
CINNAMON ROLL FUNDRAISER
The cinnamon rolls have arrived! I repeat THE CINNAMON ROLLS HAVE ARRIVED!! We know these are a highlight for many families & we are just as excited to deliver them to you. If you ordered from a company dancer, they will be reaching out to plan delivery. If you ordered through the studio link, I will be reaching out this week but plan to pick them up during your scheduled class time. Thanks again to all that ordered! We hope you love them & that they warm your bellies over the holidays!
DECEMBER SPIRIT WEEK – MERRY GRINCHMAS!!
Our monthly spirit week is coming up NEXT WEEK – December 13th-17th. We are going with a Grinch/Christmas theme so feel free to wear your favorite Christmas gear whether that be a full Grinch suit (am I the only person that has that) or Christmas pj’s or an ugly sweater…anything goes. Please be sure to follow basic dress code rules: midriff & bottoms covered, hair pulled back & appropriate shoes. Also, we encourage families to join via the Zoom link to watch their dancer. We will surely be dancing to Christmas tunes & we may even have a dance to show.
JINGLE HOP
It’s time for the Jingle Hop again!! We had so much fun last year that we are bringing this back! This year the theme is TRICK OUT THE TREE!! It most certainly requires a prop so this week we will send a care package out to each family with a simple project included. Please have your dancer create their Christmas ornament & bring it with them next week. They will learn the Jingle Hop in class & our hope is that at least one family member will also learn it (there will be a partner section). The family partner can Zoom in to class or learn from the instructional video we will send out. Don’t be shy…please learn the dance, film it with your dancer & either tag us on your favorite platform or send us the video so we can include you in our video montage!! The sillier you get, the BETTER!! We would love to blow up social media with our dance & spread some FUN holiday cheer!!! The silliest video – choreography must be included – will win a prize!!
NEW STUDIO M GEAR
We have received a slew of new (sparkly) Studio M Gear from our distributor in time for last minute Christmas gifts. If you are looking for a stocking stuffer or another present, look no further! We have everything from long sleeved dresses for the Littles to Zip hoodies for the big kids. There are some great long sleeve shirts in festive cranberry too!! With the shipping issues still happening, this is all that we have so it’s first come first served. Tavja will have everything displayed at the studio if you want to swing in when you drop your dancer off this week or next week. I will also post photos on our social media for those of you that want to order from afar. Yay for new gear!!
WINTER BREAK
Winter Break is right around the corner!! The studio will be closed from December 18th-January 9th. We hope this break gives you plenty of time for celebration, R&R, and a week to get back into the swing of things before dance begins again. Enjoy & we will be oh so ready to see you in the New Year!
LATE PAYMENTS
We understand that automatic payments don’t always go through. We will however be assessing a $30 NSF fee if account balances aren’t paid by the 5th business day of the month. We will continue to communicate any issues from our end & appreciate you taking care of them as soon as possible.

COMING UP…
NEW ADULT WORKSHOP
We have a new Adult Jazz Workshop coming up next month! We will be getting Jazzy in January with Miss Kelsey Elkins! Class will meet on Tuesday nights from 7:30pm-8:30pm on January 18th, 25th, February 1st & 8th. All four lessons for just $55!! Please be on the lookout for registration opening next week!! It might be the perfect gift for a friend who loves to move!!
MY BUDDY & ME WORKSHOP
We will be starting our first My Buddy & Me Workshop in the spring of 2022!! Yay! This workshop is focused on the tiniest of dancers and their favorite grownup. It is a 30min intro to movement class that is designed for ages 18months-2yrs. We will work on developmentally appropriate movement that includes props & is interactive with their buddy. Stay tuned for more information at the start of the year.
